Remember the 'good old days' of computer games? The days of the Arcades, Commodore 64, Amiga or Atari? Sure, these machines were nothing compared to the modern day hardware but there was something magical about it. Games like Green Beret, Bruce Lee, Jumpman Junior, International Karate, Delta, Defender etc... The list can go on and on.  Because graphics and sound were limited the games were about gameplay and simplicity. Playniax is an attempt to bring back the magic. Call it classic gaming, retro, oldskool or simply old fashioned. We would consider that a compliment.
 
Let’s put simplicity back in gaming!

On the blog anyway. This doesn’t mean I have been sitting still. There are some interesting developments going on at Playniax. For our upcoming game ‘Defenstar’ we found a KICK ASS musician that is going to provide the music. I will not reveal his name yet but he did some C64 tracks in the past for commercially successful games.   Our framework has been released and I’m continuing to improve it every day. Progress on the framework is slow because of Defenstar. So everyday I try to do a ‘little’ of both. I have started to work fulltime on the framework again. It needs some …
